It is the duty of the Nominations and Elections Committee to solicit nominations from the Texas Speech-Language-Hearing Association (TSHA) membership and develop a slate of no more than two candidates for each office.
The Nominations and Elections Committee reported to the TSHA membership at the Annual Business Meeting, held on Thursday, February 22, at 7:30 a.m. CT at the TSHA Annual Convention in Fort Worth. The following unopposed candidates were elected by a majority vote at the Annual Business Meeting.
Election
In two Vice Presidency offices, there are multiple candidates nominated, and an election (majority vote) will be held to determine the winner of the office.
The candidates running in the 2024 election for the Executive Board include:
Vice President for Audiology
Vice President for Professional Services
Election
Active and Lifetime members of TSHA are eligible to vote in this election. The election will open on Wednesday, March 13, and run through Monday, April 15 (11:59 p.m. ET).
