I already purchased membership in 2024. Why do I need to renew my membership?

TSHA Membership renewal occurs based on the calendar year. October 1, 2024 marks the beginning of our Membership Renewal Period. Therefore, memberships purchased before October 1, 2024 will expire on December 31, 2023. Memberships purchased after October 1, 2024 will expire on December 31, 2025.

My employer (or a third party) pays for my TSHA membership. How can I share my invoice with my employer to complete payment?

When you sign up to join or renew via our website, please select the “Bill Me” option at checkout, which will generate an invoice you can send to your employer. You can also include your employer’s email address in the “Send a copy to:” box at checkout, and your employer should receive an email with your invoice from our system. Your employer can complete payment via card using the payment link on the invoice, or, if they wish to complete payment via check, please instruct them to include your invoice number on the check. If your employer is paying for multiple memberships with one check, we ask that they include a list of all affected invoice numbers with payment. Please mail checks to the address below. Membership will not be applied to your account until payment has been processed.

The address above is the correct remit address for payments to TSHA. If your employer has a different address on file, it is incorrect. Please direct your employer to contact staff@txsha.org to verify accurate vendor information.

I am a Lifetime Member. Do I have to complete TSHA membership renewal?

If you are a Lifetime Member of TSHA, your TSHA membership renews automatically. Lifetime Members do not need to complete membership renewal.

Am I eligible for Lifetime Membership?

Lifetime Membership is for those members of the Association who have served as President of the Association, or those persons who, upon recommendation of the Honors Committee, have been awarded Life Membership to the Association, or those persons 65 years of age and over who have been Active or Associate Members in good standing for at least 20 consecutive years or 25 cumulative years. All Life Members are exempt from dues payment. Please note that approval is required for this membership level. For information on how to apply for Lifetime Membership, please see below.

How do I apply for Lifetime Membership?

If you meet the criteria above and believe you are eligible for Lifetime Membership, please complete this application and submit to staff@txsha.org alongside any required supporting documentation, and TSHA Staff will review your application. TSHA Staff will accept Lifetime Membership Applications between October 1-January 25 each year, during our membership renewal period. Those who apply for and receive Lifetime Membership will be notified ahead of exiting their membership grace period (January 31).
