The 69th Annual Convention and Exhibition of the Texas Speech-Language-Hearing Association (TSHA) will be May 1-3 in San Antonio! We are already planning and want to share a few sneak peeks with you so you can start planning to attend as well!
Come To Celebrate!
Convention will be held in San Antonio on the River Walk during Fiesta! Fiesta is a celebration of San Antonio's rich and diverse cultures. We are excited to be in San Antonio during such an energetic time in the city, and we are going to continue the celebration throughout Convention with activities and networking events to celebrate TSHA and our Texas speech-language pathologists (SLPs) and audiologists.
Come To Learn and Share Your Knowledge and Expertise!
We will have nationally recognized speakers from around the country for our keynote event on Thursday morning and up to seven advanced level clinical courses and three master class courses spread throughout the three-day Convention. TSHA Convention attendees will have the opportunity to learn from and interact with thought leaders in the fields of speech-language pathology and audiology at the TSHA 2025 Convention!
But, in order for the TSHA 2025 Convention to be great, we need you!
We have more than 80 additional oral presentation offerings and many poster presentations throughout the three-day Convention, and those are all selected from the Call for Papers submissions received. Please consider submitting to present your knowledge and experiences in either a poster or oral presentation format. The TSHA Convention relies on Texas SLPs and audiologists to make Convention great!
The Call for Papers submission portal will open on Monday, August 5.
We strive to have a well-rounded Convention program that offers options for all attendees, from the student and new clinician to the more advanced and experienced clinician. We strive to have programming relevant to clinicians at all practice settings, including schools, private practices, medical settings, universities, and others, but we need you! We are only able to curate as well rounded of a program as the Call for Papers submissions we receive.
Here are some focuses of the TSHA 2025 Convention Programming Committee:
- Interdisciplinary presentations
- Underrepresented presentation topics
- Have you always wished there were a specific course topic at the TSHA Convention? If so, consider submitting to present or asking someone you know to present on this topic.
- First-time presenters
Submit what you want to see at Convention!
We cannot wait to celebrate with you at TSHA’s 69th Annual Convention and Exhibition. Please mark your calendars now for May 1-3, 2025, in San Antonio! And don’t forget that the Call for Papers opens on August 5!
