Save the Date for the TSHA Annual Business Meeting!
The committee will report to the TSHA membership at the annual business meeting to be held on Thursday, February 23, at 7:15 a.m. CT at the TSHA Annual Convention. A candidate who is unopposed may be elected by a majority vote at the annual business meeting.
According to TSHA bylaws, nominations may be made from the floor during the business meeting with the prior consent of the nominee. The Nominations and Elections Committee would then review credentials for any person nominated from the floor to determine eligibility for office and provide the Executive Board with a slate of no more than two candidates for approval. If there are multiple candidates nominated, an election (majority vote) will be held to determine the winner of the office.
If you have questions, view the TSHA Executive Board Policies and Procedures, or contact TSHA Nominations and Elections Chair Carolyn Perry at 806-743-9055 or carolyn.perry@ttuhsc.edu.
