Save the Date for the TSHA Annual Business Meeting!
The committee will report to the TSHA membership at the annual business meeting to be held on Thursday, May 1, at 7:15 a.m. at the TSHA Annual Convention in San Antonio. An unopposed candidate may be elected by a majority vote at the annual business meeting.
According to TSHA bylaws, nominations may be made from the floor during the business meeting with the nominee's prior consent. The Nominations and Elections Committee would then review credentials for any person nominated from the floor to determine eligibility for office and provide the Executive Board with a slate of no more than two candidates for approval. If there are multiple candidates nominated, an election (majority vote) will be held (opening in late-May) to determine the winner of the office.
