By: Melissa Liska, MS, CCC-SLP, Vice President for Member Engagement
The Texas Speech-Language-Hearing Association (TSHA) Vice Presidency for Member Engagement continues to work hard to keep TSHA members, non-members, other professionals, students, and the general public updated with important information regarding speech-language pathology and audiology. We continue to reach out to our non-members and members through our presence on a variety of social media platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and Twitter. These platforms are utilized to post public service announcements, news within our community, and happenings quickly and efficiently. We strive to keep our professional community informed on current information that includes our professionals and students.
Over the past year, our Executive Board members continued to engage with audiology and speech-language pathology students through the annual university visits. TSHA past presidents, current presidents, and vice presidents enjoyed meeting with the National Student Speech-Language-Hearing Association (NSSLHA) chapters.
We appreciate our hardworking and dedicated volunteers taking their time to keep each and every one of our TSHA members and non-members up-to-date. The following volunteers gave their thoughts, ideas, and personal time to the Vice Presidency of Member Engagement.
