What a great turnout at the Texas Speech-Language-Hearing Association (TSHA) Political Action Committee (PAC) booth at this year’s 66th Annual Convention in February. At our booth this year, we had our silent auction in which you could bid on a basket of goods donated by our regional associations and National Student Speech-Language-Hearing Association (NSSLHA) chapters in the state of Texas. We also had decals to purchase for $5 donations, a selfie wall, and other past goodies for any contribution. Although the unfortunate cold weather caused a minor setback in our plans for the booth, TSHA members like you still came through to contribute to our cause. Thank you to all those who volunteered at the booth, all the NSSLHA and regional associations for their basket donations, and, of course, thank you to all the members of TSHA who made any type of contribution to TSHA PAC. Each dollar is important when it comes to being able to send money to legislators who have our backs in Austin.
